I had the opportunity to attend the RAM and Safety assurance conference in Goa, India, by Intellex Consulting Services https://lnkd.in/eygfDfsG All engineers have to undergo CPD (U.K.) accredited specialist training within Intellex and pass the exams on RAMS assurance before being involved in key roles in various projects. This ensures that the engineers engaged in projects have a sound academic base in Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety (RAMS). The awareness of the practical issues and challenges in assuring RAMS in various projects and the grasp of underlying engineering demonstrated by the attendees during the conference were a testament to that. Their strong teamwork and collaboration skills were obvious from the interaction between the staff. Way to go, Intellex, and all the best for all current and future projects.

Intellex had a fabulous 3-day long weekend get-together of its staff members at Radisson Goa. The staff travelled from London, Riyadh, Doha, Dubai and Mumbai which are the various Intellex project sites. As a team we rarely see each other except through Teams, the get-together gave us an opportunity to exchange ideas, build rapport and have fun as a team. The gettogether started with a technical conference in the first day. Each member of the staff presented various System assurance hurdles they faced in their projects, how they overcame those hurdles and successfully delivered the System assurance for the projects. Then all of us engaged in fulfilled activities in Goa which included parasailing, banana boat other water sports and included a visit to the casino. See some snaps captured from the Intellex weekend at Goa. We returned to our work after the fun weekend as a galvanised team.

1yThis is wonderful subject. Wouldn't it be possible to conduct these training sessions over the weekends, so that they wouldn't clash with our routine day jobs?
